There was supposed to be a quote or an intelligent ramble here but I've got nothing. I've been thinking about Zen koans lately even though I only have some idea of what they are.

I know I said I wasn't going to say it...but I really don't want to go back.

I'm going to see The Dark Knight tonight at 10:30. To tell the truth, I'm kind of having mixed feelings about it now. The over-hyping of the movie really got to me around last week and now I have way too high expectations for this movie. The sad thing is, I'm a ridiculously easy to please movie goer. Really, all you have to do is put the movie up on a huge screen and hand me some popcorn and I'm pretty set. I can honestly not think of a movie I've hated that I saw on the big screen. And I've seen a metric shit ton of movies in theatres. But now, with The Dark Knight, the constant stream of BESTMOVIEEVAR has hit me on the head and I'm like, okay, if this shit doesn't blow me away I'm going to be very, very, very disappointed. Because after all, I've practically been promised the revolution of cinema since December when I saw the trailer in I Am Legend.

Whatever. As per usual, I'm usually good if they show me a really slamming trailer. I'm a sucker for a kickass trailer.*

Here's hoping for brilliance.

*Original Dark Knight trailer is totally my favorite I've ever seen.

Weird dream time! So I'm in JKR's house with DanRad (true facts) and JKR gets mad at us about something and starts chasing us down the street. I only have socks on and DanRad and I manage to hold a conversation while being chased. We run into a bookstore and I'm kind of laughing and pointing out the HP books and JKR catches up to us and isn't mad anymore and suddenly we're in an antechamer in Tomorrowland that doesn't exist, trying to decide if we should go on Space Mountain or Star Tours. And the night before last I dreamed, as I have many, many, many times, that I was being chased by a T Rex. That's pretty much all my best dream material right there, folks.

I really should be nicer, but it's hard.
